Meet Gratsky

“Gratsky” is a nickname affectionately given to professional photographer Christopher Grey many years ago. As a pro shooter, Chris built a terrific client list and did national editorial and advertising work for Target, NBC, The Home Depot, the Dairy Association (Got Milk?), just to name a few. In between, he completed over 20,000 headshots and wrote several books on photography and professional lighting.

Chris’ interest in classic cars began in a farm field where several vehicles had been abandoned. Taken in by the patina of age, damage, and rust against what had once been beautiful examples of design and engineering, he photographed the group. That was the beginning of a delightful avocation.

As his collection grew to include stock and restored cars, car lovers took notice and began asking for specific images and products. Now retired from commercial work, he’s free to put more time into his favorite hobby, finding and artistically interpreting examples of both popular and classic coachwork.
